When thinking about summer recipe favourites, there are few that elicit the excitement and nostalgia of s’mores. These delectable and scrumptious sandwiches stir up memories of campfires, roasted marshmallows, and good times.
But how do you improve upon on what is considered to be an already perfect dessert? The answer, of course, is adding cannabis.
If you’re looking to enjoy infused s’mores, here is an easy recipe that can be made over an outdoor fire or from the comfort of your home using the oven. We recommend using Bhang’s THC Dark Chocolate for this recipe, but THC Milk Chocolate is great for those that prefer something sweeter.
Here’s what you will need:
- 2 graham crackers
- Large marshmallow
- 1 piece of Bhang chocolate (containing 10mg THC)
If you’re making s’mores over a fire, grab a skewer (or a stick, we won’t judge), and get ready to indulge.
Place your chocolate on a graham cracker and keep the other cracker aside. Grab your skewer of choice and stick it into the marshmallow. Hold the marshmallow above the flame (not in it), removing it when it turns golden brown. If you prefer yours a little more charred, leave it above the flame until it reaches your desired darkness.
When your marshmallow is ready, grab the graham cracker with chocolate on top, and place the marshmallow on top. Place the other graham cracker on top of the marshmallow and gently press without breaking the cracker.
While holding the sandwich, slide the skewer out and set aside (saving for a second s’more or for toasting more marshmallows when those munchies hit). Sit back and enjoy.
Oven-made s’mores
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the graham crackers on tinfoil or a cookie sheet, side-by-side.
Place the chocolate on one graham cracker, and place a marshmallow on the other. Let it bake until the marshmallow is golden brown.
Take the sheet or foil out of the oven and carefully pick up the graham cracker with marshmallow on it and place it overtop of the chocolate graham cracker. Gently press together, and enjoy.
Dosing and Flavour Adjustments
If a full chocolate bar at 10 mg THC is too strong for you, break the bar in half, or even into quarters and replace with your choice of uninfused chocolate.
Whatever dosage you prefer, always start low and go slow. Refer to Health Canada’s guidelines on cannabis consumption for more information.
As with any cannabis product, never share with anyone under the age of 19, and keep cannabis out of reach of minors at all times.
